Stove Burner issue

We’re having issues with just the high out put burner on our stove, all other propane appliances and the other two burners are nice blue flames, but the HO burner starts out nice and blue but 5 minutes or so into using it, it’s starts turning yellow flam tips and just gets worse. I’ve taken it apart and really don’t see anything wrong. None of the stove burners have any air adjustments that I can see. Any advice is appreciated.

Only a guess based on a SOB we owned a few years back.

If the flame turns yellow, that means that there is too much air being admitted through the slot in the air/gas tube. I my case I was able to do some bending and twisting of thar tube so that when the burner heated up, it wouldn't expand past a given point. That adjustment is somewhat similar to the air/gas tube on the HW heater - too much air, sooty yellow flame, too little, it sounds like a 747 in take off mode

I guess I’ll mess with this burner some more.

I had a similar problem but i was not getting any gas. I had to bleed the propane line of the liquid part of LPG that had gathered in the elbow.
