difference in back-up camera and rear view camera

We have camera on our 3720 RL it stopped working .It looks like I will need to get another one. I would like some suggestions on the best rear view camera I run mine on all the time while I am driving. Thanks from Jerome & Judy

Observation models are meant to run all the time where a back up camera only for shorter periods. I don't really use it for backing but its handy while driving.

Our rig came with the Furion backup camera. It didn't work well at all.

Looking at Furion specs, the backup camera is for rigs shorter than ours.

We upgraded to the Furion Observation camera and have been happy with it.

Like Zack, I don't really use it for backing but like it a bunch while driving.

I have an observation camera...wouldn't be without it. Sure helps when passing. Also, it's amazing how many people tailgate so closely that you can't see them in either mirror...but there they are on screen.
