Suburban Tankless

Hi Guys, and gals, I have a 2018 3920 and for the second time now when I go outside the tankless water heater started up. I can hear it trying to light and the fan is on as cool air is blowing out of the exhaust. I go inside and the controller is OFF. I also have the propane off as I have it stored right now.

Why would it be turning on by itself...?

Tony

Suburban tankless

I have the same water heater and noticed the same thing. I had drained the Monte down to get ready for some cold weather last November that was coming (Austin TX cold weather...way down around 29*...bone chillin cold!!!). The heater kept trying to light even though it was off at the panel and gas was off. Called suburban. That is the freeze protection that is built into the unit. It is supposed to do that! Nothing is wrong!
