Wrinkles in Roof Material
When I bought my unit the dealer sent photos into Keystone about my rusted pin box, and the wrinkles on the roof material as it was not pulled tight.
Anyone have a newer unit and have wrinkles in their roof? I looked at 4-5 brand new units at the same dealer and two others and they have the same issue, and I have no idea why.

Ours has a few, not big ones, looks like 8-10’ apart.,One must realize these things are aluminum and wood, they grow and shrink a little, probably a surprising amount. I check for tears, and as soon as it warms up the wrinkles go away.

Wrinkles in the roof men-brain is not a uncommon problem as Mark said. We have them two in are's it needs to move with every thing else as the weather changes things tend to expand at different rates.

Had minor wrinkles on our last three units. Never a problem.

roof wrinkles
Here's a pic of my roof wrinkles. I also see areas along both sides where the arched roof meets the side, and it looks like it is not glued down - but it is anchored all along the side. I see no reason to worry about wrinkles until someone comes up with a reason to be concerned.

Noticed those wrinkles on our Cougar before Montana, as well... pondered what we do when diligent maintenance is not enough if leak develops. Probably going to go with a bed liner like truck, it comes in colors and we will use white and go over entire roof, wrinkles would go away too!
. . . . Those bubbles are at seams, typically the 1/4" overlay beneath the fabric roofing material is laid over the top of the sheet before, starting from the rear and overlapping as they progressed to the hitch area. If not overlapped, a space between sheets also creates this bubble... Seems to me that manufacture could find a better way to ensure those bubbles do not appear, but unless the roof is like an AirStream or all metal, the fabric eventually produces those bubbles or wrinkles... Rhino liner or similar product should do the trick, but I do not know for positive.

No worry with the seam line. It is because that area has expansion and contraction at the sheathing seam. Best to leave alone and not create a problem where one doesn't exist. Rubber EPDM is designed to be flexible and stay that way.

The TPO roof membrane is a single continuous sheet over the whole coach - no seams. There is probably a butt-joint in the OSB/plywood roof deck below.
There are a couple of good videos on youtube from Alpha Systems (maker of the TPO used on Montanas) but i have no idea how to provide a link here.
To see how the membrane is installed - go to youtube and search for "Alpha LLC Super Flex Membrane Install"
"Alpha Systems Roof Maintenance" video shows basic maintenance.
