Swivel Dining Table

We're having trouble with our swivel dining table (just bought our 2010 Montana). It won't turn! Anyone else have this problem? We took it apart and are reworking it. Wondered if anyone has a hint what could be wrong. It seems maybe it was tightened down too hard.

On my '10 there is a metal pin at the top of the pedestal. You just have to pull the pin to release the table and have it turn.

Yes, we pull the pin, but it still won't turn. We took it apart and think we may have an answer. Will let you all know tomorrow.
