I paid $175 to have my hitch installed (non slider). It was a very difficult installation...I could not even see where some of the bolts went in, much less get a wrench on them. As for the brake controller, that one is easy, you could do it yourself...they come with all the parts, great directions and, if needed, the 800# to the manufacturer.
