Honda Generator secure box
When at the Q I saw this generator security box for the honda generator its an idea that could be made by one if they are talinted in sheetmetal work, it was way more than I would want to spend for a box much less 2 of them. but its a idea.

I wonder if a stock tool-box could be found that would fit it?

In a previous job we used to leave smaller generators outside secured in heavy wire and galvanized framed cages. These powered temporary traffic signals and warning lights. The cages locked and were chained to an immovable object or to a drilled in stake. I don't have a picture but I have seen similar cages used for outside AC units. They opened from the top and had grommeted holes for the cords. I believe a local welding shop made them up for us.
