Adding faucet or outside shower to basement

Has anyone added a faucet or exterior shower type assembly to the door side basement area? Looks like it wouldn't be difficult since there is so much plumbing running on the ceiling of the basement already. I set up my outside cooking, grilling, etc just forward of the basement door and have found myself wanting handy access to water without taking up table space with a big jug. Wouldn't be concerned with drain.

I've made many plumbing mods on my rig and other rigs. The PEX shark fittings make the job a piece of cake. If this electrician can do it, you can also.

Thanks Jim. I didn't know what to call that type of plumbing and related fittings.

I use plastic sharkbite fittings and carry a good number of spares to do whatever comes to mind. You can get them, PEX tubing and cutting tools at most hardware and box stores. Here's a start on what Lowes carries: http://www.lowes.com/Search=blue+hawk+pex?storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=blue+hawk +pex#!
