Switch problem for stabilizers and landing gear
I have a 2010 Montana Mountaineer. It has a remote control for the landing gear and stabilizers along with manual switches. The remote control will operate the landing gear and stabilizers but the manual switches do not work. When the manual switches are pushed I detect power going to the motor but it will not run. I only have a test light to detect the power but no voltmeter. The switches only worked on our first trip and haven't worked since. Any ideas?

do you have a priority switch ? something you have to turn or push so only the remote or manual work?

Same thing happened to our 2010 Montana. We needed a new circuit board. apparently there has been some problems with the circuit board--our dealer said one didn't work during a PDI on a new unit. Hope the one we are getting is "new and improved". take it to your dealer and have them fix it.

Here's a little test you can do. Run a wire from the manual switch ground post (-)on the circuit board to a known good ground (should be a white grnd wire close by). If the manual swiches work you have a bad ground, if not the circuit board is defective. Been down this road on my 2010.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the ground test and if it's not the problem I guess it's take it back to the dealer time. I talked to them and they said they will have to diagnose it first before they can order the circuit board. They didn't sound surprised when they heard I was having the problem. Sounds like it could take a few weeks to get the circuit board. I'm glad the remote works because it's hard to tie up the rig for two weeks. We don't have the longest camping season in Minnesota. We love this rig and I never expect everything to be perfect. I'm a little old fashioned and could have done without the electric awning, remote control system for everything etc.. Just more stuff to go wrong. I didn't mind doing a little cranking. Thanks again

If it turns out to be a bad circuit board, don't put up with "it will take weeks", demand priority shipping from Keystone. Talk to a Keystone service rep. after your dealer orders the part.

Took delivery of a "Raptor" last year. Same problem and new board fixed it.

it took about 2-3 weeks for the new circuit board to come in after it was ordered. Picked it up today and all is well, our dealer said they have had about 6 go bad.
