12 Volt Lights Flickering
All my 12 Volt lights flicker when pluged into 110/220 poser after about 20 minutes. I can unplug the electrical power or throw the main CB and the lights work just fine when on battery poswer. I have checked the connections on the inverter and replaced one of the 12volt batteries that I thought might be going bad. Don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might check the 110 connections feeding the inverter. Check them at the 110 outlet/plug as well as the circuit breaker and the neutral buss in the breaker box. Jim

That happened to me and it turned out to be the service at the park the common wire was loose and it caused arking which is what was causing my lights to flicker, it also melted my plug wires and plug because it got hot from arking in there recptical in the service tower.
Here is what a loose wire caused on my plug.

Many thanks to everyone who replied to this post. I eliminated the power source and cable early in the stage by using different cables at different power sources. I couldn't believe it when I was told to check the connections on the converter. Well I opened the C/B panel, tightened things up, and put it back together. That helped a lot, but still had a flicker. Opened her back up again and tried to tighten everything that I could get to and put her back together again.
Well, I just spent a week at Branson, MO and NO FLICKER.
Thanks again everyone, I was about to pay dealer service charges for this one.

Hey Frank, come on up to Nebraska for the Central Plains Rally in July(check it out under "It's Time for a Rally" under the MOC American/Central Plains Region threads here on MOC. We'll be 6 miles from the new Strategic Air Museum that used to be at Offutt AFB. Hopefully, Pine Grove RV Park where we're holding the Rally will have correct wiring for you and your rig! Can't figure out what else you could do. Like Trailer Trash 2, I also had a problem with my cable except mine was in the "female end" of the cord!

Don,w/o knowing the specifics of the nature of the flickering it makes it hard to suggest anything. (Example does it only flicker when the compressor or micrwave kicks in?) Somethings you might check are: tighten all lugs in your breaker box, check you cord for tight terminations in the end plug, check your terminations in all 110 plugs and junction boxes you can find. Let us know what you find as most will encounter similar problems sooner or later. Jim
