Screen Door Lock

Our cat likes to jump up at bugs on the screen door and we've always worried that she'd open it coming down. I agonized over how do do it so it looked good.

I'm quite pleased with the result. I did have to fashion a spacer to go between the rivet and the gun as the rivet is recessed in the channel.

Great job! Unfortunately for us, we have one of our cats who can open that kind of latch, the original screen door latch as well as most of our drawers and cabinet doors. He also climes the valaces, walks across the top of the slides and has hopped into the lamp fixture over the island.

Oh I am so picturing your cat doing this.

Yup, that's Picatso. The only cabinet he hasn't gone back to twice and we haven't had to kid lock is the one next to the microwave that he managed to get the peanut butter and vegetable oil to fall out on him

I recently installed a Plisse screen door. We love it and i don't believe any animal would be able to open it. Here is the website: https://www.plissescreen.com They will custom make the screen to fit. Check it out. I can send pictures of ours if you like.
