3820FK Washer/Dryer Install

Has anyone with a 3820FK installed a washer and/or dryer in the bedroom space that is set up for it? Wondering what models have worked best, lessons learned while shopping and installing?

Installed washer/dryer on a 3910FB. Chose a Splendide combo vented/with a drain pan. Pretty straightforward. Took a bit of muscle, but two average guys using straps underneath makes it pretty painless. I bought ours directly on line from Splendide to include the pan, lockdowns, hoses, outside vent cover. Cheapest price I could find at that time even with shipping. Four years now, half a year in florida each winter, have never had a problem. One lesson learned, do not trust the dryer vent location decal, decal on ours was right over a stud. Fortunately I was careful to check clearance before I cranked up my holesaw. Also couple of our neighbors found that replacement hoses from Lowes/home depot etc leaked when installed. Replaced with Spendide hoses, leaks stopped. I did put 90 degree elbows on the water lines, pretty tight in there, elbows made it easier.

Hello. Im curious if you ever found a way to do this install with the 3820fk. The space definitely is not very welcoming for install. I took this to an RV repair shop/installer and he told me “the way they want you to vent this makes no sense, and there isn’t enough space to vent it to the side.” Did you ever find a unit that works or a way to install? Thanks for reading.
