Welcome to the forums from another 375FL owner. We've had ours since brand new, right off the assembly line. Yes, we've had our share of problems, more than I can even remember now. I've done so many modifications to this camper, I've lost track. If it wasn't for taking photos of everything I've done, I would have lost track completely.
I'll gladly share anything, the good, the bad, the ugly about this camper and the many, many changes we've done.
As we camp always camp with at bare minimum of electric hook-up, we've never had to be concerned about solar, or the types of batteries ours has. We are still using led based batteries. But we are on our second set now. We got new batteries in December 2022.
Again, welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your 375FL. You'll absolutely love that back door on the opposite side once you really start using it. After having a door on the back side, you'll never want another camper again with only 1 door, or both doors on the same side, ever again.
Happy camping!
Here's some of my more, major, modifications:
Outside shower install and steps and slides show reflective glow red and white safety reflective tape.
Outside intertainment?
Bidet (no toilet paper needed --- ever) and replaced the plastic seat
Awning, lights, grab bar on the back side, back door.
How I transport my 2 Cummins Onan generators:
Pull handle on the dump valve pulled out. This is how I rigged it back up so it would have to be replaced. I now pull on the wooden round grab handle instead of the actual handle. The handle pulls off. Too much work to replace the cable. This was easier and works just as well.
But, you've just gotta love that back door, especially when there is an awning over it! Front can be the back, and back can be the front, park it either direction.
These photos just scratch the surface to the many things I've done. Some were done out of necessity, some for convenience. But every modification has made our camping experience sweeter!
Happy camping!
