Jenson speaker question

Got the cable hooked up, not satellite, and can only get the sound through the TV and not the external Jenson speakers. I tried the A, B, and C features, and all the different inputs on the TV with no luck. The external speakers are only coming on with the radio. Anybody have a solution?

Try putting your stereo on ARC (Audio Return Channel )

Jet skier, what did you replace yours with? I know in my old 5th. wheel, I put my own surround sound speaker and bluetooth sub. I have always hated those stupid receivers they stick in R/V's.......trying to do to much with a total POS system.

For now, I kept the Jensen head unit. If you pull the stock speakers of the cabinet, there are two separate channels wired into unit. One is labeled front, and the other rear. I think the rated output is 8W each! I replaced them with 6x8 car speakers and wired them into a four-channel amp rated at 4 x 75W RMS @ 4 ohms. I used the other two channels for the outdoor speakers that I store in the front pass-through. For the sub, I installed a 10" sub enclosure behind the recliners and put the bass knob for level control on the panel next to the recliners so you can tune the bass for the song or movie. It's powered by a separate 1 x 300W RMS @ 4ohms sub amp. It sounds awesome and bumps for music as well.



If I find a decent 12V replacement for the headunit, I will replace it.
