Brake Controller 2009 Dodge 2500

Hi All,
We are newbies and need a little help. Bought a Mountaineer 295 RKD in October and a new Dodge 2500 diesel today. First on our list is a brake controller. Not a lot of room in the cab, and assume the brake controller needs to be on the left side. Can someone recommend a brake controller that works well in a Dodge?
Cheers, Dean & Mel

My brake controller is on the right side of the steering wheel. Prodigy seems to be one of the more popular ones. Hensley is suppose to have a great one. You will have many recommendations. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

Right side here also. I don't want to bump it getting in and out of the truck. I believe mine is a Technoshia (not sure of the spelling).

I mounted my Prodigy in the cubby hole under the heater controls. When I bought the truck used, it had some other cheap brake controller mounted under the dash on the right side. I didn't like the idea of whacking my knee or shin on it, so I moved it.

Here's a pic, you can see the holes where the old one was mounted. >>>

Yes I did forget to mention "WATCH YOUR KNEE" If you are a long legged person, you will bump the manual control lever when exiting as was stated by clutch, AFTER A WHILE YOU SORTA REMEMBER ITS THERE and it wont happen much.
But me being able to do many things with my body, I use my knee to apply the brake lever manually when needed because, it dosen't do anything when driving the right leg is doing all the work. Ha Ha.
