Hd antenna
I bought 331RL 2022 Montana High Country. Lots of campsites nearby dont have wifi or cable access. The tv inside the living room is an insignia. It wont find over the area digital channels while scanning. Please let me know what Im doing wrong. Thx

First, for OTA to work you need to turn on the antenna booster…the little button next to a coax connection somewhere in your rig. In ours it’s in the TV cabinet in the bedroom. You’ll see a little light when it’s on. Now you can search for channels. However, there’s no guarantee that you’ll find any. It’s totally dependent on location and available channels. We’ve been in lots of places that have no channels. If your antenna booster is on and you’ve searched for channels Over The Air and you come up blank then you’re out of range.

I'm pretty sure your rig has Key TV. If the blue LED is lite then it is on. I dont believe it has an off switch. It's located in the convenience center.

You could have a bad coax connection or lost power to the controller or you could have an antenna connection problem.

^^^ What Foldbak said. 2022 here as well with Insignia TV.
Just double checked and we have the Blue jumper for the KeyTV in the convenience center hooked up to the SAT input, as well as the SAT connection behind the TVs. Make sure yours is the same and then scan for OTA signals. If you still don't get anything, I spent an hour pulling panels to tighten the back side of each connector gently with a small wrench. They don't have to be gorilla tight, but they DO have to be very snug or they will simply vibrate loose again pulling your rig down the road.
Best of luck and happy camping!
Edit: Just noticed this was your first post. Welcome aboard to the MOC forum family! Lots of knowledgable and friendly folks here that truly want to help out fellow owners. Hope you make lots of great memories with your new rig!
Quick suggestion - take advantage of the User CP button up near the top left side of the page to add a signature line with the year and model of your fiver. That will only help others help you in return. Again - Happy Camping!

Fred, welcome to the forum. First, we all need to assume there is signal to be received. Right now, in Cortez, Colorado, there are no channels available. Your coax comes from your Air 360+ on the roof to your Key TV panel. It recognizes when you have off air vs cable and senses the need for the booster. To help troubleshoot, can you scan for channels on your bedroom TV? If you can get channels in the bedroom, you know the problem lies between the Key TV and your living room TV. Many have found loose connections on the back of the Key TV or bad connectors. You have a coax that runs from the Key TV to a connector under the slide. From there, the cable goes to the back of the wall plate. Then you have the wire from the plate to the TV. My cipherin’ says that’s 6 connections between the TV and the Key TV. If you aren’t getting signal from either TV, then you need to look up toward the antenna. Best of luck.

There is an app you can download from apple app store for free called “Antennas “ that shows you the available TV channels and the direction they broadcast from, and signal strength. Really comes in handy in these situations.

go to
www.antennasdirect.com
put in your local zip code and it will tell you what direction to point your antenna. Use your smartphone compass to find the exact direction to point it.
If you put a mark on the plastic rotating handle as to which way is the front, you won't need to go out and look at it.
