2006 Monty - Water Pump Doesn't

Hope someone is still watching this year old thread. I've never gotten the freshwater tank system to produce water. The pump runs but no water at faucets. I have no "Panel" for valves. Nothing is marked in my 2006 3670RL. There is a single Pex valve on the water pump that looks like it will spew water out of an uncapped threaded nipple so I did not mess with that valve. There is ZERO information on any of this in the amazingly unhelpful owners manual. What is the purpose of this valve at the pump? My system does work with city water connected, so I have not spent any time on the fresh tank pump system. I would like to know how all these systems are supposed to work.

Can you attach some photos of the pump and its surrounding location? It has been a long time since I worked on my 2005 Montana (long gone) and a picture may help refresh my brain. That said, I don't remember ever seeing a uncapped valve on a water pump. All I have ever seen have an inlet line from the tank and an output line to the water system.

Can't help on the 2005, but just because your pump is running does not mean it is good. My OEM pump died because of sawdust in the system; Keystone did not put a filter on the pump. It still ran, just no pressure. If you do replace, I found the SureFlo to be superior to the Flojet. There is also another brand getting good words, Seaflo, but no experience with it.

Best of luck

My guess is it is winterize bypass mode. Pre-convenience center you had to flip a valve to winterize. My guess is it’s trying to draw water and not pump. There should be an access panel to get the pump. There is also a water heater bypass in there.

Rames14 is correct I believe. On mine that valve you are talking about near the water pump has a hose on it to go into a jug of anti freeze. I think if you flip that valve it will put it back to the fresh water tank.
