Just Checking, Is everyone here aware of this web site?

Its full of advertisements on the right and left side of the pages but the content is in the middle.

I receive a notice in my email box when a new issue is posted.

We recently received an email from something called RV TRAVEL...don't know if it is the same site...deleted it without opening since we had never heard of it.

I have been getting it for quite a while. It arrives every Sat. morning. It's a fun newsletter with many links to rv related sites.

I don't spend much time in the RVtravel.com site, per se, but from there I participate in the Forums (the forum link is in the top middle of the page). I avoid all the salesy, advertisy, stuff on rvtravel.com and just use the forum. In fact, my favorites don't even reference rvtravel.com and just goes straight to the forums.

The forum must have had a problem about a year ago, because it seems like the members are relatively new and many of the older members didn't re-register.

The Forums run the gamut on everything with RVing (class As, to popups). I find many of the queries are from newbies to their RVs. Compared to this Montana site that seems to contain experienced RVers that eventually settled on a Montana of some kind, RVtravel.com/forums is all over the place for topics.

But the forum is friendly and courteous. I like it, and will usually visit it after spending some time in the MOC. It is NOWHERE near as active though and I wonder if it's because they lost many members when they had their problem.

Last thing. It seems to be moderated by one person She is a very nice person and because of the small size of the forum she seems to be able to handle it all by herself.

In summary, don't fret this site. It's safe and provides some good information.
