Lift Kit

I have a Montana 2955RL. Purchased a 2008 F350 4x4. The space between the tailgate and the underside of the 5er is 3 1/2 inches. The axle is already mounted under the springs. Is there a lift kit that can be purchased for the Montana? I would like 1 to 1 1/2 inch lift. Any suggestions?

Thanks

What type of hitch do you have? Can't you raise it so you have more clearance?

I wouldn't raise the 5er by lifting it. You can lower the pin box and raise the hitch. This combination should accomodate your needs.

You must have bought a SRW truck. I have noticed they sit quite high and wondered if it would be a problem.

I lowered the hitch so the 5er would ride level, which lowered the 5er to the talgate. I need to raise the 5er to get a proper gap.

Change the Spacer between the axle & springs on the rear of the truck. You can take the 4" spacer out and put a 2" spacer in.
Not a big deal, & will lower the rear of the truck 2".
