Finally got our new ride

9 months of waiting for the order to fill, but we finally picked up our new baby last week.

Despite the picture, I do still have two arms. Others have commented that I had two legs, but clearly spent an arm.

Sweet! I've been looking at 350/3500 duallys and 450's and comparing differences. Payload seems about the same between the two. Heavier brakes on the 450?

Larger brakes and, surprisingly, a much better turning radius. Not sure how much I'll notice that when hauling or backing my Montana, but I can definitely feel it when parking or doing a U-turn.

Beware: Some financial institutions and some insurance companies classify the 450 as commercial and won't lend or insure it on normal consumer plans. Easy enough to work around, but something to know in advance. I had my loan all lined up at a pretty rate, then they noticed it was a 450 and bailed on me. /sigh

Very nice truck! If ever I have to replace mine, that will likely be the truck I go with.

Nice Ride! I am sure you will like it. The shorter turning radius is a definite plus for that size truck.

Congratulations! Really nice truck that I think you will truly enjoy. Turning radius on the F450 is evidently awesome from the videos that I've seen plus the larger brakes are an added bonus for safety. Enjoy!
