King Pin Height of Monty

Setting up our new truck with a Curt Q5 hitch. Problem is that the Monty model 3455 is up in the mountains still covered with snow. We have a mor-ryde pin box on the 3455. What is your pin height (measurement from the ground to the trailer's king pin) Please tell me if it is to the bottom of the king pin or to the top where makes contact with the Q5 or other hitch skid plate.

Once I get new tires this week on the TV I will have the height of the truck to properly adjust the height of the Q5 in the truck. Appears that there are three height adjustments on the Q5, I think 13 - 15 - 17".

Our hookup height from ground to the kingpin plate is 52". For what it's worth. Yours will depend on level trailer and bedrail clearance when hooked up. Good luck.

May ask the question in a different way. What is the height of top of the hitch skid plate?
