Side skirting
I blew a tire in Texas and did some damage to the skirting behind the steps. Does anybody know how to locate replacement parts?
Thanks

Go to a steel stockist and buy some 20 guage sheet alloy.

Thank you for reply. I will look into it. As you can see I am brand new to this. Not the RV inch but the Moc.

Thank you. I have thought about that. I went to a keystone dealer and they found the part for $50.00 but they want $150.00 shipping. Can’t quite come to grips with that. Thanks

yup sounds about right, had to replace one side due in part to the fact the idiots didn't put washers on the screws that hold it to the frame and it vibrated enough to elongate the screw holes till they were bigger than the head of the screws and it turned itself into a kite. Glad it didn't hit anyone else. Ordered a new one threw the dealer and the shipping was twice the price of the skirting. Being in Ontario Canada I also got whacked for another 200 bucks for brokerage fee's from the transporter... So $150 shipping sounds about right... it will be well crated trust me !

It's the cost of shipping the crate and the length of it. I had a blowout on my old Windjammer and had to buy a whole side of bottom metal from forest river, same deal as you're experiencing.

I had a local RV repair guy make me one from some stock he had. He formed it perfect to match. Painted and installed was about $200.00. Shipping to Missouri from Indiana if I bought from someone up there was around what you were quoted. He told me he had bought them in the past but started making his own when he saw shipping prices. He said they do come very well crated but often with a very long lead time.

Side Skirt Rplacement
Like some else said, I had a flat (before I added Sailuns) and tore up a Moryde Skirt on the passenger side of my 2006 3475RLS Monty. Trekwood seems to be a Keystone supplier. I typed in my trailer data a found the pic and description to replace the Moryde skirt. It was about 6 ft long. It was pricey and the shipping to Texas was expensive. I had to take a big breath an do it. I wanted my Monty looking original. DW is so proud of it. My 2 cents worth. Good luck

Side Skirting
We had a similar issue with our 2012 TT in Spring of 2015. Tire blew out and damaged the metal skirting on the side. Cost of skirting was under $100 but shipping was going to cost $150 plus.
Make a long story short, we found out that the RV insurance policy covered all the repairs, minus our $100 deductable.
