The ratios of what's in DEF is on the back of all the containers. All I have seen are the same.

I just did a google search for DEF. You don’t need to worry about where you get it or what it cost. I don’t have a truck that uses it but this is what I found out along with some other stuff:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. It is standardised as AUS 32 (aqueous urea solution) in ISO 22241.

Correct ~~~ it is all he same, or supposed to be. It can be contaminated and does have a shelf life so careful storing. $2.74 gallon at the pump at Pilot today.

The shelf life is over a year and you can make the stuff yourself. All it is is water and urea. Cummings recommends that you don’t make it yourself, but if you are so inclined it won’t hurt a thing.

DF is just UREA mixed with water. Really nothing special. The formula is exactly the same for all brands!!

DEF is cheapest at truck stop pumps. (around $2.79/gal).
I do keep a “just in case”2 1/2 gallon jug from Autozone.
I get a discount from AutoZone.

Don't keep it too long. I think DEF lifetime is 1 year or so. Shorter if in hotter temps (and maybe lower temps).

I have used both the Walmart brand and buy at Pilot. Both work fine!

I wish I could! My daughter and hubby and 2 grandkids (5 & 6) are there now. So it would be fun to rv there.
