I have been thrilled with mine and the dealer that sold them to me. Just went in for a free balance/rotate prior to leaving on our current trip. They didn't like the way 2 of the tires were balancing out so they broke them down and turned them on the rim until they got the balance just right. Took them 1 1/2 hours to complete the job but I wanted it done right. Best part.....it was free.

We ran BFG's as original equipment on our TV for 60K. Replaced them last fall with same tires. Why mess with success?

Why did you have 2 tires blow out? I've got a real problem with this.

While it is great that Goodrich replaced all four tires, there must have been some pretty significant damage or condition for a tire to blow at 15 mph, there sure was no heat being generated.

I am with mlh in wondering why two of them blew and both were on the front axle.

Perhaps Goodrich knows something you don't know, if that is the case then well they should replace the tires, they may have been under recall or faulty from the get go.

You are certainly within the carrying capacity of the tires at 10,000 lbs. However if the blowouts were recent then that makes the tires better than 4 years old. Maybe like us old age got them....

Both being on the front axle makes me wonder. Was there any unusual wear on either of them before the blowouts? Makes me think the axle might have been out of alignment just enough to heat them up and wear them prematurely. Of course it's not my trailer and I'm just guessing.

5 years seems to be about the life span of the BFG's. I just found the tread separating on one of ours, a 1409 built tire. Ours were bought in 09 and spent the first 2 years under a 9K sob before being put under the Mountaineer in Nov. 2011. Replacing with Bridgestone R250's.

There was no uneven wear...and all 4 tires had 13/32 of tread left on them...we had no damage from both blowouts..bf Goodrich said they were not on the recall list...
