Hi Ozz;
Our 2006 - 3400 RL Has a Sealand Traveller Lite Toilet
Model #210. It is 15.5" high. I don't know if your '07
is the same. Hope this helps.
Mike

Thanks Betty. I want to change the seal, I tried lube but the water leaks off, it's funny it only does it every once and a while.

Ozz, our Big Sky 340RL also has the Sealand 210. Bob has replaced the seals, and it still leaks with a very sticky foot pedal, so he is now (at this very moment) replacing the spring cartridge, ball and shaft. Hope it works.

Our 2008 3400RL has Sealand 210 also. Leaks from time to time so we ordered a 2012 3585SA to remedy the problem. How long before new one leaks too?

Ozz I have gotten in the habit of pulling up on the pedal after I flush and the DW will also it makes the ball seal. I have rotated the seal a couple of times and it will work for alittle while. this seems to have worked better than anything else. just something to try.

Bobbie, we have been lifting that pedal for a year now, I think I wrung out all of the use I can get from it, when we get to Salt Lake I will have a new overhaul kit delivered, and produce another fix-it slide-show.
Where are you now?

Can't wait to see that slide show. Ours has just started leaking also. I have been pulling up on the foot pedal and when there is more water in there, it doesn't seem to leak.

Murphy's Law... I bought the gaskets, it started holding water...
But when we get settled in for the winter, Palm Springs Cal, or Phoenix, or..???? I will do it and post the pic's.
Try smearing a bunch of petroleum jelly on the gasket after cleaning the opening real good with a brush... not your wife's toothbrush please .

We have found that the tiniest bit of TP caught in the seal will cause it to leak. When the water drains out we run a buush around the seal and it corrects the issue ..till the next time..

Our 2008 3400RL had the Model 210.

There was a known and documented problem with the Sealand toilets. The spring mechanism for the closing ball was to weak and it would not close the ball for a good seal. The repair was a kit.

Having had knee surgery, I did not like sitting on the low throne, and because of the cramped space i could not put my feet out. DW wanted me to sit for "all" occasions. (Please do not ask why - I don't know!)

Anyhow, I decided to get a higher throne and a 2-1/2 inch riser. Installed it and it eliminated my feet having to be under me. However, DW was not happy with it. The additional height of the throne, plus the riser, and she calls me in and says, "I don't like my feet swinging when i am using this facility." Her feet were about 2 inches off the floor. Out came the riser, and everything was then fine for both of us. If you need some extra knee room I recommend either/or the riser or the higher 17 or 21 inch throne.

Also, the flange is only held on by two wood screws into the particle board. When I replaced it I used through the wood bolts with stainless fender washers. It will really hold the lard then.

One tip....don't buy the aftermarket seals on Ebay. They ain't worth a crap. I tried one, and the seal is too big on the ID, and lets the ball valve hang on it. I went and got the Dometic brand, and it works fine. Got to agree with Rich tho, any sort of obstruction will cause the seal to leak.
