3150 + Dodge 3500 SRW
Will my 11 Dodge CC LB 3500 SRW 4x4 be able to handle a new 3150?

I would think so but check your weights and specifications of your truck and there will be no question in your mind.

You shouldn't have any trouble pulling it with your truck.

I pull my 3150RL with a 2500 Dodge short bed see my signature block). All within RV and truck ratings. You will be just fine ... enjoy!

The weights you need are the GCWR and the GVWR.
GCWR is gross combined wheel rate and the GVWR is the gross vehicle wheel rate.
A lot of this will be based on the rear end ratio and transmission.

If your truck was fully loaded so that it was at its GVWR of 10,100 lbs and this included the pin weight of the trailer, this means you only have 10,900 lbs left for the trailer - Do not count the pin weight because this is carried by the truck.
Find the GTWR, calculate the pin weight (18% to 25% of the GTWR) then subtract this from the GTWR and make sure the trailer axles will weigh only 10,900 lbs. You must also hope that the pin weight fits into what's left of the GVWR and RAWR of the Tow vehicle prior to hitching up.
It's your choice and liability if you decide to go over any of the ratings.

My 2011 3500 SRW crew long Ram 4x4 handles the 3400RL, the new 36RL Redwood, a 4-slant Featherlite horse trailer w/ living quarters, and a few other misc trailers without any trouble. Have yet to squat the overloads with any of the trailers I've been hauling around the past 6 months.

Check the numbers to be sure...the cargo capacity can be found on the Tire and Loading Information sticker found on the left side of the door frame.
On edit...ignore the "pull fine" posts, ANY diesel pick up will "pull" any Montana. Cargo capacity is normally the weak link of SRW pick ups.

Your pin weight is about 40 lbs greater than mine and I, of course, pull just fine. My concern has always been the bed weight after a toolbox, heavy hitch, generator, 5 gallon fuel container, and 34 gallons of fuel in the truck. You might be pushing your rear axel/springs/tire capacity if you decide to add any more (such as an aux fuel tank (although I would love one). Thats all part of the shortcomings of a SRW (although I still would buy a SRW again). Enjoy your new rig.
