So here's the latest update on our Fl tax situation. Without the homestead exemption our property taxes will only increase about $600. I have already recouped $350 from Illinois by applying for the senior homestead and hopefully even more once we have appealed in September. I guess we will hold off on establishing Fl as our domicile until after we sell our Il house.
