This brings up something I've been curious about. What exactly is a 'high hitch'. I assume it means the pin is above the jaws but somehow still triggers the jaws closed.
Does this result in the pin sitting completely on top of the closed jaws, or does it mean the pin flange is captured by not fully closed jaws, or does it mean something entirely different?
On my hitch (trailer saver) I don't know how either condition would not be really really visible. Am I wrong? Are there some hitches that could disguise this condition more than others?
I would think a high hitch would show up as a pretty big gap between the load bearing plates, no?
