I like those "Insured by Smith & Wesson" signs.

My wife's got a concealed carry permit from Alaska. I worry about her shooting ME if I come to bed while she's having a bad dream!

In some states, you can shoot to protect your property. Trouble is, there aren't enough of those states. And there are way too many people on the streets with known records. Probably kicked out of jail so they can arrest someone who pruned overhanging state park trees while pulling into a site with a big fiver....

The swivel portion of my Drawtite is removable with one main pin and I used to lock it to the kingpin for extended periods on the old Couger. The Monty has been in a cg with the slides open since it's purchase.

I would like to thank everyone for your concerns. The police have only told us that they are still working on the case. My guess is that we aren't going to hear anything because they didn't get away with our Montana.

We have now opened the slides and we have gotten a new king pin lock. Our neighbor has also parked an extra car in front of the pin.

I will keep you post.

Has anyone had experience with the keyed lock on the hitch pin as a safeguard against theft?
After reading this thread we ordered the key lock from our dealer. This one has no chain or lock to be cut or torched off. Thanks for any help you can supply.

Wonder if a "boot" would give added security?

Only if it had a steel toe and was correctly applied to the proper area of the thief's anatomy... Oh, wait... were you talking about something else???
