Just picked it up!

Just took delivery of a 2006 Montana 3500RL...What a change from the 27 foot Komfort I traded in! I am pulling it with a 2004 F350 power stroke. Any ideas or hints from your wealth of experiance would be great still pretty new to the RV world. Looking forward to meeting other owners. This looks like a great place to meet them.

Congrats, RailroadMike! You are going to love the info you get on this forum. I would take some time and go through the "MOC on M.A.R.S." first, then the "General" section.

Congratulations on your new Monty! I know the feeling. I went from a 29' TT to my current Monty. A big difference.

Happy RVing!

We also traded in a 27-foot Komfort for our Montana 2 years ago, though we went a bit smaller with the 2955.

Yea yea yea, we have had our 3500rl for 7 weeks now. Its great, its nice, its super, but, I had to wash the sucker this am and now I gotta take a week off to recoop my mobility. I could say I loved every inch of it, but , oh ok I love every inch of it. I love every inch of it. I love every inch of it. I really do love every inch of it. YOu got any ideas how many darn inches on on this thing when you gotta wash em?

Seriously, I hope you enjoy yours 1/10 as much as we are enjoying our (except today ) and welcome you to the nicest forum on the web.

Check out the post on the Sealand toilet factory repair, you may need it.

RailroadMike,

Congrats on your purchase, we hope to have our 3400RL in our driveway within the next two weeks.

I am new to Rving myself so I just read, read, read and then ask questions. These people are wonderful and will help you out when you ask a question.

I hope you have many, many happy days in your 3500.

Congrats. We've had our 3500 since last June. Think washing it is a chore? Wait till ya wax it - LOL. Acually, I just waxed the front to make the bugs easier to get off.

Enjoy, and PM if you need any suggestions. We've made some minor mods to make some parts more useable. Our next mod is to replace the 27" tube TV with a 32" LCD. I have photos of another that did it, and it looks FABULOUS!!
