What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for a family who loves me, a Montana to travel in, a safe trip to Alaska and back, friends we met/meet along the way, and continued remission from leukemia for Glen. Oh, yeah, then there are the granchildren.....Thank you, thank you, thank you!

If I were to list all the things I am thankful for I would still be typing tomorrow and my family would not have a big dinner so I will make it a short list! My hubby, my kids, my grandkids, that I live in a country where I have freedoms that I don't even have to think about, the biggest one being a freedom to openly worship and tell others about our Lord. Let us remember why our forefather's came to this country in the first place. Happy Thanksgiving

Amen to that, rogersuemegan. Thanksgiving is getting lost in the rat race. Let's keep it alive!

I ditto all of the above. My wonderful husband, my four beautiful daughters, my four grandchildren and my dear Mother. I am thankful for having grown up in this land of freedom in a very loving family. I'm thankful that I was given the opportunity to enrich our lifestyle so that we can have our beautiful Montana and meet such great friends through the MOC. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, drive safe, don't eat to much and I hope your team wins.
Happy trails....................

Linda, yep, we are thankful you are OK too!

Thankful for, the family,

the WARM home (with it's new furnace),

the good eats we will have tomorrow,

the ability to pay for all this,

Montana,

our health so we can use Montana as much as we can,

That I live in a time where it is reasonable easy to do my research, and find that I want to thank:

Richard Bowen, my 9th great grandfather for leaving Wales and coming to the wild land of America back around 1638. You see, according to records from the Plymouth Planatation, Richard had a little chat one day with Captain Myles Standish about some land matters. For whatever reason, that little chat with Myles impressed me, and made T day a bit more special for me. Who said family history was boring??

Thankful for more that we can list! Yep! We agree there.

Carol,
Looks like our forefathers arrived about the same time. One in 1640 and another 1635. The one in 1640 landed in Maryland and I'd have to go look where the other landed. I forget (CRS).
Happy trails.....................

My great Grandfather came over from Sicily @ 1868.Landed in NY but wanted to go to Calif because he was grower of figs and Grapes and heard that Calif was good for that.Picked up a wagon train in KC and as the story goes was attacked by Indians somewhere in the Oklahoma territory. Turned around took the next boat back to Sicily and said that America was inhabited by savages and unfit for human habitation..No family member came back till 1910. Everyone have a great Xgiving......

I WILL be thankful when Forumco gets real servers and bandwidth. I am getting tired of clicking on a forum and having to wait sometime FOREVER for it to appear.

I don't think the problem you are having is Forumco. I don't wait forever for anything to appear. Remember also this is a free forum.
Happy trails..............................
