Rainy Day Golf

For those of you (like me) that need to put MEinMO's marble game down for a while (that sure is addictive!), here is the best stinkin' video putt-putt I've ever played. Watch out, it may replace your real set of clubs and create complications with the mate.

That is a great game. I did well on most but was nine over on each of two that were really tough for me. 66, 18 over par overall.

After about a million games, I'm averaging about a 35. To date, my best is 30 (on a few occasions). The programmer sure had a masochistic bent on a couple of the holes!

And I thought I could brag at 36. That is a great site to explore.

This is very familiar to another site that had a very similar program, though the graphics on this one are definitely better.

I took 50 strokes the first time out, so two over par. All of those hills gave me fits! thanks for sharing, Pete! This is a keeper!

There are some interesting games on this site. I was 15 over par on the first try. 20 on the second. (Does practice make perfect?) But only 9 on the 3rd. Enough for now. These things can drive you nuts.

Best I've done is 47, 1 under par. But I've only played it maybe a half dozen times. So far. Those darn uphills/downhills really screw me up. I guess I need to study it to see if I can figure out what pattern represents what angles.

Vicki had a 33. She's pretty smug about that. She also beat me at Penguin Baseball. [Heavy Sigh]

The shaded areas with arrows do not represent what you may think. You have to play each of those holes many times and make notes to figure them all out. I really got luckly and had a 27. However it could have been better.Made one mistake.

Dick and Toni, any hints on those holes you'd be willing to share? It looks like they're not the same angle all the way across. It would be nice to be able to view from different angles like you would in the real world. Thanks.
