Mildew near attic vents

We are looking for information regarding the formation of very black mildew around both of our attic vents on our 2006 2955RL Montana 5th wheel. Our concern is that moisture is somehow entering the roof venting circuit and causing this problem but the roof itself seems to be free from cracks and leaks. Any ideas??????

I have seen this before....maybe you have lot's of moisture in your trailer. Usually from two or more people just breathing can cause a lot of moisture with nowhere to go. Showers & cooking also can add to this.

We don't have this even with two dogs...we leave the bathroom & hall roof vents open all the time. We have vent covers on them.

Even in cool weather 30 to 50 degrees, this can cause your windows to steam up. But with the vents open the problem is almost non existence.
Also the use of an Fantastic Fan makes an improvement.

I've seen it also, I have never had one of those vents off to see how their constructed. I wonder what stops the water and moisture from getting in though the vent. My opinion, they were installed to try and solve a problem with moisture between the ceiling and the roof.
