PA Drivers License Renewal

PA has some strange rules. They send your application three months early. You can renew on line upon receipt. You CAN NOT renew over THREE DAYS early. I spent a half hour waiting to be told 3 day.
So renew on line paying with credit card, receive your Photo card, then go to photo center and finish.

My feeble mind says they do not want the MVA dealing with lots of money. If you do deal with them it has to be check or Money order.

There I vented, renewed on line, waiting for my photo card so I can complete the process.

As of this month, I can no longer pay my monthly corporate taxes at the bank. I have to do it on line and it's a royal pain in a** just trying to get through the federal governments website. There, I vented too!

That's your tax dollars at work. Can anybody name anything that government at any level does efficiently?

Got a notice from an income source that $30 more would be taken out of my pay for taxes - no increase in pay though. DW got the same, but only $28 and she makes more - no increase though.

Just goes to prove that everything that is being given away - costs someone.

This is an RVing Forum. It is NOT a "Government Bashing" Forum. The OP made a cogent point regarding a specific process. Most subsequent postings are simply "bashing". Please adhere to the rules and stay on topic. If you have something to add about renewing your PA DL then please do so. But refrain from simply bashing the government.
