Keystone Customer Service Division
We just returned home after a 3 1/2 week tour with the Monty from Colorado to Michigan. Along the way we were in a lot of rain and nasty weather. The decals on the slides began peeling off. This was the second time for problems with decals on the 08 2955RL.
Since we were heading North it seemed to be a good idea to stop in at the factory in Goshen and get the decals taken care of. My expectations were like what I had experienced at the Winnebago Plant in Forest City, IA. As I found out, the Keystone Customer Service Center is not for walk ins. Unlike the Winnebago Plant where they have a service center that services walk ins, Keystone is booked up about 6 weeks out. They are mainly for repairs that can not be handled at dealer level.
To my rescue came Darrell (Service Writer) and Craig (Public Relations). They could tell I was expecting some sort of service. Craig called Charger RV in Elkhart and made an appointment for me and then arranged for the plant to send over the decals I needed for the repair. The Keystone Service Center had four sites with water and electric and a separate dump at the Service Center and I was able to park there over night at no charge and the decals were delivered to me at my site the next morning. I then took them with me to Charger RV.
Charger RV did a great job in about 1 1/2 hours. Nice people there. They do service work for 15 RV manufacturers in the Goshen/Elhhart area.
My hats off to those guys at the Keystone Customer Service Center for going out of the way to handle a problem that showed up on their door step. They will have some slots available for the MOC Rally this fall. I noticed about 11 bays. I can tell you they sure start early at the Raptor Plant near the Service Center. The Keystone Plant complex is a very busy place. Acres of RVs and haulers coming and going all the time. A must see if you are in the area.

If you REALLY want special service, follow John's advice and do not miss the National Fall Rally. If we did not go anywhere else these next 6 months, THAT is the one place we would go.

We too had the pleasure of experiencing their customer first attitude following last years rally. We took our unit over after we left the rally on Sunday. We set up with four other units, of who three had made appointments. The first thing Monday morning (around 7 am) all four of us were interviewed by Service Rep George as to our particular concerns, We had a gas leak (a faulty regulator) and they took our unit in and replaced both regulators and checked the entire system then returned our trailer to "Camp Montana" and performed the work on the other trailers who had appointments. We had to stay Monday night and then first thing Tuesday morning they took the Monty inside and fixed everything they and we could possibly find. The service manager Darrell gave us a detailed listing of the repairs and then went over each and everyone of them with the mechanics Bobby and Rich. Wow we could not have been treated nicer or more professionally. When it comes to service Keystone is tops.

Many new MOCers are learning something that the older MOCers have known for years. When it comes to service the folks at the Keystone Customer Service Center cannot be beat. 99% of the time they have come thru for us whereas some of the other manufacturers have created horror stories.
I not only own a Montana because I feel it is the best 5er on the road but also because I know the likes of Darrell and George and the rest of the Techs are there when I need them.

. Lorraine and I have been to every Fall Rally and will continue going to every Fall Rally for as long as we are capable of getting there. The price of fuel can go up as it wants but that will not change my plans to attend the ANNUAL 2008 MOC FALL RALLY

Yep, we've been at Camp Keystone, too. Those service folks are first rate in my book.

They've also treated us very well, like we were the only customer they had--on two separate occasions! We couldn't have been treated better. Wonder if it was because our dealer works closely with them?

I might add that Darrell, George and the others at the service center and their overall attitude are a major factor in why we're on our third Montana. There were other factors, as well, but those guys are definitely a tie breaker at the very minimum.
