2008 sink and counter-top
What is the construction of the counter-top and sink in the 2008 Montana. Our sink cracked and Keystone has agreed to replace it under warranty. I am waiting on a call from the dealer to verify that the counter-top will be here for instillation next week. Not hearing from him tells me there may be a PROBLEM, like not being available. We would possibly be willing to accept the 2008 counter-top and sink. All responses are greatly appreciated.

They don't make them up in advance?? Not stockpiled in a warehouse in Elkhart County, Indiana. And, so, if you need one, they need to have it made.
I believe I have heard that from other MOCers.

If they offer the 08 version of the countertop and sink, I would certainly go for it. The new ones are corian with undermount sinks in either enamal or stainless (don't know). I think it was a fix for there earlier counters like ours that crack and bust.

The '08 version of the sinks(at least in the 10th Anniversary) are contrasting color Corian, to go with the countertops.

Not all 2008 models come with corian. I believe only the anniversary edition. I would sure ask and get them to put in corian, even if there is a price difference. Having had corian in my home, that was my biggest disappointment in learning about the anniversary upgrades six weeks after we picked up our 2008.

Bob & Lee, how long ago was your counter-top ordered? I think ours was ordered about 3 weeks ago.

I sure wish they would address these counter tops. I don't want to have to wait until the thing is out of warranty by a month and replace it. What is causing all of the problems?
