HELP....A/C

We have a problem with our Duo-Therm 15,000 A/C. Can't get it to come on??? Checked all breakers and fuses, We have the Dometic with remote, which really doesn't work as it should. We are 45 minutes from the nearest repair center. Dometic gave us the number and we are waiting for the tech to return our call. My question, is there a reset button on the A/C on the roof or does it have a fuse?? Thanks... GBY...

Try removing power from both the furnace and the A/C unit; Shut off the breakers and turn them back on.
See if that works for you.
Good luck.

Ozz, your so right, did as you said and the A/C is running. That save me some money for sure. Ozz, I owe you and yours dinner if and when I meet up some where, dinner is on us your choice. Thats what makes this forum so great, people helping people. Thanks again, and I following your post, you give out lots of great idea's and advice. GBY....

I also see you a PM.....

Been bush hogging with the John Deere all evening and helped the wonderful wife with some landscapeing today, and that advice and help made my day. But every day is a holiday......

Glad to help you out. Sometimes something simple like that works, but not often enough....
I also like the 'Bigger hammer' theory. That landscaping is hard work, I prefer driving the ole tractor.
Take care.

Also, the newer units take two minutes for the AC to actually come on, after turning it on. I guess that's to protect it should power cycle off and on rapidly.
