Gift idea for Christmas

Even from Santa to Santa...
I bought a killer digital camera, it's the Kodak easy share C875 with the docking station.
What it does is 'Park' or sit in the docking station, recharges the batteries and has a one button transfer of photo's.
Take your pictures, sit the camera down, recharge the batteries automatically, it has three green lights that are all lit when fully charged. The hit one button, it does all the work, turns on, transfers, turns off. Cave man stuff.
You can use all the advanced features and settings, or, just point shoot, enjoy.
I love mine.
Wally World.

I have the Kodak DX3900 has the dock to charge - Love it.
I can take beautiful pictures.
Joe has a bigger fancy digital camera - but I have trouble focusing with that.
And our printer has slots for the cards - I can just take the card out of the camera and either print them or copy them to the computer. How easy!!

I have the Kodak Z612. Works the same in the docking station but has a 12x zoom. I sure do love it. I put a 1G memory card in and plan on taking videos thursday night while we are watching the lift off of the space shuttle right at Kennedy Space Center. I will bring a small tripod with to try to get the best pictures possible and post it on my blog when done. Wish me luck. I will bring extra memory cards with just in case I take more.

Ozz,
Once again you have outdone yourself. Santa couldn't wait for Christmas cause he needs to take pictures NOW, and Mrs. Santa knows better than to let the old man take her camera out of her sight. So, last night he flew the Ford PSD Sleigh on down to Wally World and returned home with a brand spankin new Kodak C875. You are right, this thing has more bells and whistles than I'll ever use, and takes great pictures.

One button in particular was pretty handy last night, the delete one, as Mrs. Santa isn't very photo friendly when she is trying to watch a movie. She was hollering something about a bright green light and seeing spots from a flash. I think maybe she was having hot flashes or something.

Thanks for the great idea.

That's funny, yes, Sue oversees the photo's and knows well where the delete button is.
Us guys just have no brains when it comes to what they will allow on those pictures, I guess we need some oversight.
This camera has really easy to use settings, I can actually figure them out, the last camera, (a Nikon-good camera) had lots of settings, but not easy to use like this one.
The docking system is what finishes it off, were you able to get that?
I had to drive 40 miles South of Albuquerque to a Wally World super duper center to get mine. The other Two stores in town were out of them. It was worth it.
Now, let us see some of those pic's!

No Ozz, they were smooth out of the docking stations in Clovis. Portales is only 24 miles away, maybe they have one, if not, Amarillo gets visited every couple of weeks or so. If all else fails, I suppose I could order it online.
Pics will be forthcoming.

I had one of th eold Kodak 3.0 mp when they first came out. Great Camera. I have since switched to sony cybershots and they are also good cameras. I bought one for mom last weekend and these things are getting really cheap. $145.00 for a 6.0 mp with 3X optical zoom.

Another good RV gift is the ice maker. I know they are not on sale in most places right now but they are well worth the $200.00 and can be used most of the year.

Happy Shopping(I hate shopping and crowds)!

It is incredible how all these fantastic digital toys are dropping in price and what costs hundreds today cost thousands 10 years ago. My first video camera that required you to carry a separate recording unit cost me 1700 bucks 20 years ago.
Kodak is making great stuff at super low prices. They have a model out with 12 times optical zoom and an image stabilizer which you need for magnification like this and this camera is selling for about 350 CAD. Incredible.

Ozz,
Thank you - Easy is better - wish I had bought one of those easy buttons when we were near a Staples - would be fun to have.

I can't remember where I got the saying now - but I love it.

Another great deal for gift: XM satellite radio. Click on link below and click on separate link using XM coupon code listed below the link.

Some of the radios are under $10 and 9 months service is $78 plus shipping. Great deal if you don't already have satellite radio in your vehicle or know someone who wants one.

Home Depot has their Magic Chef Ice Makers on the website only. The price is only $216.74 delivered to your home(or home on wheels). Last season Camping World was selling them for $259.00 at the store.

Merry Christmas

Funny thing I just ordered the C875 yesterday. Ordered on line from Kodak and got free shipping and 1 GB SD card. Did not get dock, maybe that will be next for Mrs. Claus.

Bill, your really going to like the camera, it's cool. That's neat that you got the 1 GB card with it, I had to buy mine extra. It was left over from the Thanksgiving sale though, so it only cost 20 bucks. I'm with you on the docking station, throwing hints at Mrs. Santa.

On Edit - Get some good rechargeable NI-MH AA batteries. The ones that come with the camera are non - rechargeable OXY-ALKALINE, and last about 20 pictures.
