It isn't too bad a job. But why do you ask? Usually the shower drain isn't a problem. If it is slow or not draining, the HepVo valve is the usual culprit and it is easy to clean.

My hepo valve looks like it’s torn, we have just recently started living in ours and upon looking in the drain I can see what I think is the hepo valve and looks like it’s been torn

Normally Montana installs the Hepvo valve horizontally in the drain line line several inches from the physical drain itself. I am not sure how you can see it from the shower viewpoint. You will need to remove the backside wall of the pass through compartment on the passenger (door) side. That is the only access to it. The valve may be torn, maybe by someone previously trying to clean it with a brush or metal instrument. It is possible it is blocking the flow on water down the pipe. Look for this device.

on our 2012 3750FL our shower has a small access panel on front below the glass door with 4 screws. Doesn't leave you with a lot of working room but the drain is just behind the access door and some short handled adjustable pliers helped.
Mobile Tech I had asked for advice called the part a "duck bill" and is the longer part Carl has pictured.

I had the Hepvo waterless trap in our 2013 375FLF shower. I changed it once due to a damaged Duck Bill. The next time I tried to clean it I wound up with a slip nut that I couldn't get lose and I broke the shower pan drain. I wound up having to replace the shower pan. When I did this, I replaced the Hepvo trap with a standard P-Trap. There was just enough room below the floor to install the trap and clear the black water tank. I'm a plumber so I know the tricks to install the trap and then set the pan.
