Titan Fuel Tank

I have been looking for a replacement fuel tank for my 2017 GMC 3500 Diesel, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 4WD, DRW and hadn't been able to find one that was advertised to fit until just recently. Titan is now advertising a 66 gallon replacement tank (30 gallons more than the stock tank) compatible with 2017-2019 Crew Cabs. Has anyone installed this tank? Did you do the install yourself? Have any issues after installation? I'm trying to avoid an in-bed tank if possible.

We have a different truck but I did replace the Titan tank myself. Took me about 3 hours. Check online for one of the YouTube how to videos. The only thing I needed help with wss getting the truck computer reprogrammed so the miles to empty was correct.

i INSTALLED A 50 GALLON TITAN ON MY 2016 F-250. HAD FORD REPROGRAM IT. FOR 5 YEARS I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT! THE ONLY CON IS THAT IT WILL SET LOWER THAT AN ORIGINAL TANK. I REALLY ENJOYED RIDING 450 MILES BETWEEN FILL-UPS WHILE TOWING. i AM GETTING A 2021 f-350 AND MY TITAN TANK IS IN THE GARGE WAITING FOR MY NEW TRUCK.

I have one but for a Ram and highly recommend it. I installed it by myself. The instructions for fuel and wiring did not match what my truck has. The other instructions were not written well and caused confusion. I'm not an instructions kind of guy and should have not used them but survived it anyway. To do another one I would remove the bed first. The fuel gauge will be off but you may be able to reprogram it. I put in five gallons, made note of the reading, five more and noted it, etc. No big deal not being exact on the gauge as you'll get used to it. It will run a long way on the full mark before moving.
