WOW! If it isn't one thing it is another.

Haven't had the rig on the road for two years. The kids and grand kids came up for a week and they stayed in the rig. I discovered a leak in the front roof from a drip just aft of the closet door at the foot of the bed. Still working on that issue and now I find out that the furnace cuts on and off for about 30 seconds a few times then shuts down. I am guessing a sail switch issue. We have a 08 Big Sky but I have no clue what brand furnace it is. The cover on the outside is rectangular and vertical. It has a screw in each of the four corners. It is a regular toad choker rain at the moment but I was wondering if anybody has a clue if I can repair the switch issue from outside after this rain Apocalypse ends.

The sail switch can be accessed once you remove the 4 screws and take the panel off. It may be cover with lint or hair and can just be cleaned or may need replacement. It could also be water intrusion.

Not sure about Q, Betsy's fibro still kicks her butt and money is tight. I would love to go but with the roof and other stuff it doesn't look good.

Pretty sure that is an Atwood furnace you have, and new furnaces like that one are now Dometic furnaces. I'm guessing is a 8500-IV Series Furnace. This should help you figure out what isn't working. https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...?do=file&id=11

I had a similar issue. It was a wasp nest all the way back inside on the burner itself. Removed it, cleaned it. Works great. Bought covers for exhaust after that - no more problems. Good luck!

Atwood Furnace

We have an Atwood in our 2018 3661RL do the same thing. I removed the burner by disconnecting the gas line and the 4 screws. The burner was extremely rusty and dirty. I took a wire brush to it and poked out all the holes. Pretty easy fix.
