I was going to say that with some pool noodles and zip ties you could make a hat like those clowns do with balloons,

I use pool noodles on the slides. Noodles mostly protect children on bikes.

My head & head ache problem is the door with all the switches. Golfmedic that's a good idea. I'm not much of a carpenter to attempt that job. I want to install small (1" I believe) self-closing door hinges but I can't find them.

Has anyone installed self-closing hinges? If so where did you find them?

self closing hinge

I got one on amazon (see screen shot below).
I took that idea and presented a full demonstration and mock-up to the Review Committee (DW) for approval.
First round of comments were not favorable (Oh - I didn't know that thing went on the outside. I thought it went on the inside where you could not see it.) - so I put it in the closet for safe keeping.
I plan to wait for a few more head knocks before making 2nd presentation to Review Committee for future approval.

Just do the bungee cord thing. Nothing cheaper. Can't be seen when door closed. Doesn't get in your way. What's not to like?

thank you Mikendebbie. I'm putting one on the head knocker door and my pantry door. My LR slide took the pantry door knob off. We replaced it with a small door latch. The latch came open once, thank goodness I saw it before opening the slide out. It could've pulled the whole door off!
MOC gives me such great ideas. Thank you everyone
