Tow Vehicle Tires Wear

Hey, my front tires seem to be wearing more on the outside edges than inside. 17,000 miles, always inflated to 65-70 except in real cold weather. Alignment issue on a new Ram? When I was in the dealer @~12,000 miles to have the oil changed, I think they were supposed to rotate the tires. Not sure that happened, but I am going to check and go back soon. It's part of my Mopar Maint 24.

This truck will wear on the outside especially if you make sharp or u turns. Rotations should be done no more than 5000 mile intervals. And yes, a new truck may need an alignment. I test drove a New Ford and insisted on an alignment before taking delivery.

I rotate my tires every oil change. OP needs a alignment. Take it to the dealer you bought the truck from and get them to do it.

That is a good practice. However, these Rams can go 12k + miles on an oil change. That is a bit long for a rotation. Not like it used to be anymore.

What is your cold inflation on your door, my 2014 Ram 3500 SRW is 60 psi front , 80 psi back. Which I run when towing the fifth wheel , unloaded 45- 50 rear, 55-60 front. Better ride, and the wear is even . Rotation every 5K

Could inflation be your issue, I never run the front over 60 psi. Maybe the dually is different ??
