kitchen facet has hot water on both sides

We took the Monty to Folsom Lake RV after we were at the spring rally because the hot water heater quit working on elect but worked fine on propane.

They told me it was a bad something and replaced it and fixed some of the wiring. When I next used the kitchen sink I notice that I have hot water on one side and warm water on the other. If you let the cold side run it eventually gets less hot but is still warm not cold.

Any one have any idea what might be causing this?

Maybe they left the check valve out of the inlet to the HWH.

Check the winterizing bypass valves for the proper position. They may have bumped them.

That's what it has to be. The only way I'm aware of to back siphon water from the water heater would be to leave a valve open or out of the system.
