I replaced my pop up with a 50" samsung 4k smart, and a sound bar. Have blurray players on both tvs, and use dish network with hopper3 and joey3. No plans on replacing bedroom tv yet. Dont use the jensen dvd/stereo.

We replaced the Jensen 50" in our 5361 with a Samsung 50" 4K. Other than having to go to Lowe's for screws because the ones that came with he Jensen were too short it went well.

We also went with the 50" Visio, a Bose Solo sound bar, and a blue ray. Then Jenson was ok but Visio picture is much better. The Jenson just had no way to hook things up and couldn't stream movies from or phone or tablet. We boondock 90% of the time so are working to improve the solar set up & batteries. Not big on watching TV from bed so we haven't changed out the bedroom Jenson but I'm sure we will sooner or later.

Just replace the junky 50 inch Jensen in the living room with a nice Smart Samsung. The only thing that I need to do was to move the adjustable wall bracket behind the TV set up 4 inches, because the mounting screws on the back of the Samsung are positioned lower.

I have a 19 inch in our bedroom and want to replace with a 32. Not sure if old bracket will hold a bigger tv.

The Jenson TV in out 13 3402 was in the bedroom and was 12V I guess so that you had TV if boondocking or without power. The picture quality was not the best so we replaced it with a Samsung. The Jensen is here in my Computer room hooked to a 12V power supply. It serves the purpose. We have no problem with sound or the other TV.

The TV I ended up putting in is a Hisense, which is sold through Best Buy. It is a 4k smart TV, 50" that cost $269.00. I went off the reviews and it gets mostly all 5 stars. So far that and a Polk sound bar sounds and looks great.

While I am not a TV mounting bracket expert I do know that TVs these days are so light that I doubt that there would be any problem with your bracket supporting the bigger size TV. I just replaced a 32 inch TV on my back porch with the 50 inch Jensen that I took out of my fifth wheel and it supports it perfectly.

When I was looking up brackets one day the small ones were usually rated for TV's up to 32 inch. The bracket for our 32 inch is mounted with 8 screws and is a good size bracket so if you have 8 screws holding your bracket you should be good.

Not impressed by the Jenssen at all. Especially irritating is the remote. too many buttons, vague feel to the button press and illogical layout makes it a treasure hunt to find the desired button to press. TV itself is okay but the remote just kills it for me. Will go to a Samsung Smart 4k as soon as it is convenient to do so. We stream everything and have had no problems at S&B with our 55"(wish it would fit available space in our 3813MS). We have Samsung sound bar and subwoofer too.

Hello. Could you share the model number of the new Samsung tv that replaced your old Jenson tv? I have the same model 5th wheel you have and I hate the factory tv! Tried replacing it once before with a smart tv but couldn't find the right tv with the same mounting holes on the back.

I think if i remember right the vertical mounting plates move side to side, you should have no problem getting the hole to line up, This is if you use the mount in the tv center that moves up out the tv center. If not then i think you can get an adapter plate for this.
They are called vesa adaptors.

I replaced my OEM Rickey Mouse TV with a Samsung smart TV about a year ago...dont remeber the model but we bought it at Sams after Christmas for less than $500. I had done my homework and knew the model would fit in the TV cabinet opening.

The OEM bracket mounting plate fit the back of the Samsung perfectly - however the mounting was not at the same “elevation” as the OEM Ricky Mouse TV so that the head of the Samsung struck the head of the opening a bit. I chose to remove the mounting arm off the wall and relocate it down a bit so that the Samsung was centered in the opening. I think i had to move the mount on the wall down by 1” or so...but dont quote me. When you bolt the Samsung to the plate it will be apparent if you need to re-center the wall plate.

Concerning the OEM Rickey Mouse TV...summer 1998 we took a trip in the Coleman popup to Fort Wilderness for a great week of fun for mikendebbie and the 3 kids. At some point we left “the property” and drove around Tampa, and we stopped at a souvenir shop to see if Disney stuff was cheaper off property. Well, they did not have the real/sanctioned items - but they had some close-cheap copies called “Rickey Mouse”. Actually it was a pitiful copy. We had a big laugh and the joke stuck. We have since referred to any item that is a close copy, but not quite as good as the real McCoy as a “Rickey Mouse xxx”.

That being said - i dont mean to throw shade at the Insignia TV that came with our unit. We enjoyed the TV for several years - i wanted a smart TV. There was nothing wrong with the Insignia. I took it to Goodwill to live on in someone elses home.

Mine has several holes in the riser so no problem fitting a new 55" Samsung in correctly. The only issue I had was the screws in the Jensen were too short to fit into the recessed holes in the Samsung, quick trip to Lowes fixed that.

Just curious, is picture quality bad or just remote. When Keystone asked about TV’s on the forum, I voted for Smart TV’s. We invested about $25 in a Firestick and a universal remote and didn’t have to replace the TV. Our Jensen has allowed us to get decent television and I haven’t been a lover of any of the remotes. The disappointing thing is Logitech getting out of the remote market.

Glad you got it installed. I replaced a tv on my old 5th wheel and it turned out to be a pain in the rear (not impossible, but not a 10 min job either). On my new RV, I just added an AppleTV to get to the streaming apps I needed. At some point, I'll probably do the TV and sound system replacement, but it's not the priority right now for me.
