overnite between Chattanooga and Knoxville
Short stop 10 or 11 till 5 or 6. Does Tenn. allow overnite in rest areas for RV? I've seen some rest stops dedicated for big trucks?

Can't answer your question, but I think for that short a period of time, I'd just park and go to sleep, no jacks or slides, just look like you're parked.

I live in Va so I'm not sure of what is allowed in Tn. But it's not a hanging offense. All they are going to do is wake you up and tell you to move. No big deal.

There is only one rest area between Knoxville and Chattanooga and it is a little south of exit 49. It is a full service rest area and is not "trucks only".If you can manage to get a parking space just park and leave slides in and go to bed. Not likely any LEO will bother you. FYI I am a retired trucker and live in Chattanooga.

Isn't there a Flying J or two on that route? They allow overnight stays....

Yes, there are major truckstops at exit 369 on I-40 (last exit before I-75) but If it was me and wanted to stop at a truckstop I would stop at the Loves at exit 32 on I-75. MUCH easier in and out.

The Cracker Barrel in Ooltewah allows overnight parking, if you can find a place you fit.

Yes, another option. Exit 11 I-75.

Hey, Tooth Fairy
how are you doing? Don't know if you remember us but we were your neighbor at the 2015 Rally in Goshen. We will be leaving Mn to go to Fl for the winter next Tuesday. We should have left already as it is predicted to snow 12 to 18 inches this weekend.
hope to see you again sometime, somewhere.
