Morryde steps

My Morrryde steps somehow got bent. The latch side is now a couple inches further out than the hinge side so the door is very hard to close. Any experience with this or any suggestions?

Is it bent or twisted? If it is twisted maybe a long pry bar and twist it in the opposite direction.
It probably got damaged by leveling or lowering the trailer with the steps out.

Thanks. I don't think I ever leveled with the steps down but I agree nothing else makes sense. I guess I will try the pry bar suggestion. The worst that could happen would be pulling the mounting screws loose.

I would recommend taking it off the unit to straighten it, or contact MorRyde for a new part. In fact, I would take pictures and contact customer service.
