Best place to look for an RV Cover for my 2005 Monty 2955RL. Would need a door opening. I need to use it occasionally in the winter. I am located on the BC coast. Generally wet in the winter with occasional light snow but not much. This is mostly to protect the roof. I will build something eventually but can't this winter. Is there a place that does Montana's? Would this need to be custom made or are there off the shelf options?

Most are based on length of 5er. I have a brand new one for a 41 foot 3791RD. I am unable to use it. It's out of the box, but never used. If you're interested, let me know.

Thanks Robert but my Monty is only 32-34 So your cover would drown it I think?

Lots of generic overs out there. Lots of previous discussion here on the need for them but if you are interested in buying, there are options. Google "5th wheel rv cover" for providers. Here is one from Amazon for a 33' RV with a rear door access panel.

Thanks Carl'n Susan

The Amazon link shows it as currently unavailable.

I'll do some searching on this forum as you mentioned and continue looking for a solution.

Yes that is weird ... see pix?

I am in Canada and maybe that has something to do with it??

Also I checked out some "cover discussions" on the forum and it does seem to be a very ying & yang topic. Perhaps I should re-think things and just work at a roof?

Most of us have gone without covers. I live in a temperate client (i.e. no snow or freezing) and haven't covered my RV for 10 years. I do know dealers in the frozen north don't cover RVs in their lot.

Considering I am planning on some kind of roof structure next year (RV isn't going anywhere, a permanent location more or less), and I am 99% sure it wasn't covered in the past, I think I would be probably more than good cleaning and doing the roof maintenance, checking all the caulking, including windows, and living with it "as is" for this coming winter? No body is living in it, it is more an office, rare visitor accomodation, and occasional music rehearsal space.
