Wow!! Talk about Motorhomes

Hey Gang, Yesterday the motorhomes started to arive and they have not stopped coming yet. Come to find out it is a group that gets together here every year. Gosh but they are big and so pretty you should see them. I feel kind of out of place as I am the only 5th wheel in the whole park.LOL All the people have been real nice and it looks like they are going to have a pot luck later today as they have a lot of tables set up. The casino here has a dance every Sat. night so there will be a lot of stuff going on tonight... This is a picture of the casino where we are at. The RV park in in the back. This place is in the middle of the desert with nothing around for miles. OH!! There are 25 motorhomes so far. I have to say that I wish they were all Montanas.

Looks like a really nice place, Linda. I like the mountains in the background, too.

Your picture of Longstreet brought a BIG SMILE to my face. We stayed there two years ago, making it a base camp while we did Death Valley, and plan to do the same next fall as we'd like to hike out on the sand dunes at Death Valley. You're right, that is the middle of NO WHERE. Enjoy all the dessert flowers and here at Laughlin we saw our first cactus flower today.

A couple of quick questions: Is the entertainer, originally from Wisconsin, who is a helicopter pilot still entertaining there?
Is the road open to Death Valley after the washout last August?

Looking forward to meeting you folks at the Reno Rally.

Rex and Mary, The flowers are just beautiful in Death Valley, I do not know about the entertainer right now I will have to ask. I do know that the road to Death valley is still washed out. They was getting a start of repairs and the last storm we had washed it out again. I was hoping that they would get it fixed soon as we have to drive almost 100 miles to get there, and from here it is only about 35 miles.
