Smile Tool Box and Bed covers

Newby question: I have a roll up Tonneau cover on the 8 foot bed of my RAM 3500. I will be getting a B&W 5th wheel hitch installed in a couple of weeks and want to place a tool box in the front of the bed. Does anyone know how to adjust my current cover to work with a tool box up front without my having to buy a whole new cover? Will the cover go over the hitch when unhooked from the trailer? Is the use of a bed cover common with all you full timers? Any information would be appreciated.

Do you have a soft roll up cover? What brand?

I use a hard roll up cover that works great. But would not work with a tool box up front.

Have always used a bedcover. Has always covered the hitch, depending on brand handle may have to be secured. Also have a toolbox, height inch or two below bed rail.

A cover is a good idea. You should be able to find a tool box that will fit under the cover.

I use a roll up cover and a tool box that is slightly below the bed rails. I think I got it at Lowes.

I have a Diamond Tread Aluminum and have had it probably 7 or 8 years. Sits below bed rails.

I've been looking at these on Amazon.
Side bed tool boxes. Have seen others that have mounts for shovels and axe's built-in also.
I have a rollup topper so the first foot of my bed is already spoken for.

Thanks to everyone who responded. It would seem I should keep my current bed cover and just get a below the rail tool box. I may just wait till a I see a really good set up someone else has.
